About Lisa

Bringing Years of Care and Horsemanship to Every Horse

Lisa has always been mesmerized by the spirit, power and beauty of horses.

Some of Lisa's earliest memories are riding her dad’s retired roping horse and feeling a spark of inspiration every time she watched the Kentucky Derby. That love for horses grew into a way of life, with Lisa competing in 4-H events and local gymkhanas before launching a career in the Thoroughbred racing industry as a groom and exercise rider.

Eventually, Lisa returned to Wisconsin to expand her education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Concordia University in Mequon. For 26 years, she worked in the healthcare field, specializing in orthopedics and developing expertise in manual therapy and rehabilitation.

But her heart always pulled her back to the barn—and to the “patients” she truly loves: horses.

Now, Lisa has come full circle to combine her deep love for horses with her professional expertise. Drawing from a lifetime of horsemanship and her experience across disciplines like Hunter/Jumper, Eventing, and Dressage, she provides a unique and holistic approach to equine bodywork. Her understanding of anatomy and physiology, coupled with her hands-on care, ensures that each horse she works with receives the best possible support.

Lisa is passionate about helping horses—whether backyard companions or elite athletes—achieve their full potential. Her mission is simple: to enhance equine well-being and performance through skill, compassion, and dedication.

It's amazing to watch Lisa massage Katie. As a senior horse, her body is visually aging and we know she has various aches and pains. When Lisa works on her, Katie leans into her, and you can see her entire body relax and release. She's giving my girl the gift of feeling good in her body, and I will be forever grateful.
